In-School Programs

BBCAT Afterschool offers K-pop dance and vocal programs at public school sites, promoting physical activity and creativity. Our Academy Program provides a K-pop PE alternative, while the K-Pop Battle of the Bands fosters confidence and cultural appreciation through competition.

  • Our afterschool program offers elementary and middle school students an energetic K-Pop dance class once a week. Students will learn exciting choreography, improve their dance skills, and express themselves in a creative space. Afterschool

  • A new era of movement and music, this program focuses on K-pop dance, vocals, and workshops, encouraging physical activity, teamwork, and confidence through performance. Students will explore K-pop’s history and key aspects of Korean entertainment, including language, fashion, and media. Classes meet weekly, Monday to Friday, for 1.5 to 2 hours throughout the school year. The program offers expert-led training, industry connections, and auditions, providing an inclusive environment for students from diverse backgrounds to share their passion for music and performance.

  • BBCAT Afterschool has partnered with the Fullerton School District to offer K-pop dance and vocal classes as an alternative to traditional PE, providing students with the opportunity to earn PE credit. This program reaches over 3,000 students and offers high-quality performing arts education within FSD, making it more accessible and affordable than private programs.

Performance Academy

  • BBCAT presents the first-ever K-Pop Battle of the Bands for junior high students across all five TK-8/JH school sites in the Fullerton School District. Any student can audition to participate, and selected students will receive top-tier vocal and dance training from expert K-pop instructors. They will also experience immersive learning in Korean culture, art, music, and history. Over 12 weeks, students will receive intensive training to develop their skills, teamwork, and stage presence before the competition.

  • The program culminates in a final competition where one band will be crowned the overall winner, and other bands will be recognized for individual achievements in various categories. All participants gain confidence, creativity, and school pride, while also having the opportunity to pursue a pathway into the entertainment industry.
